The Singing Cowboy is at his best in this old West classic. Gene plays a cowboy who trains wild horses and then sells them to the Saddle Rock stagecoach line, where he does some pretty good business. That is, until Doc Lockwood ((Lyle Talbott), his only competitor, decides to get in on Gene's turf. Gene pairs up with Parson Brooks to clean up the town, turning it into a law-abiding community.
