Popular Mexican action star Rodolfo De Anda stars in DUELO EN EL DESIERTO, a western about a woman torn between love and family. Laura marries retired and reformed gunslinger Billy despite her brother David's objection to the union. Seeking to drive the couple apart, David deliberately starts a fight with Billy and seeks to blame him after being injured in the scuffle. Billy is sent to prison, and David concocts a new scheme to do away with him once and for all, while Laura and kindly priest Father Juan must prove Billy's innocence before it's too late. DUELO EN EL DESIERTO was written by Rodolfo De Anda's father, Raul De Anda, who was himself a prolific screenwriter and producer in the Mexican film industry. The film also stars Fanny Cano, a popular actress in the 1960s and 1970s who died in a tragic plane crash.

ALIAS EL ALACRAN: After escaping to Mexico and changing his name to El Venado, Billy the Kid takes a job at a ranch where the owner is about to marry a beautiful woman named Rosa, who is being pursued by a killer named El Alacran. El Venado swears to protect her, pretending to be her lover as a smokescreen. The owner of the ranch misunderstands El Venado`s overtures toward Rosa, which leads to a fateful confrontation.Pedro Amendariz, one of the most beloved actors of the Golden Age of Mexican films, stars in EL INDIO. The greedy and power hungry owner of a hacienda routinely mistreats his workers, the majority of which are natives. One such worker, Julian, knows the location of valuable Indian relics, but refuses to tell the hacienda owner where he can find them. Enraged, the autocratic owner tries to have Julian hanged, but Felipe (Armendariz), another native, rescues him. The natives decide that this event is the last straw, and led by Felipe, start a rebellion against the hacienda owner and other men like him throughout the region. Sympathetic towards the oppressed native population of Mexico, EL INDIO is part of a tradition of socially conscious Mexican films.
