Jimmy Stewart stars in this western as Grant McLaine, a traveling musician with a past who makes his living entertaining construction camps on the frontier. Unable to get steady work after helping his brother Lee (Murphy), known as The Utica Kid, escape the law, Grant is finally given another chance when he is trusted with guarding a railroad's payroll. Veronica Lake stars in this western from 1951, which is set amid the turmoil of the Mexican Revolution. Lake plays Mary Stevens, who has travelled to Mexico with her daughter following the death of her father and ruination of her Southern plantation in the U.S. But once there Stevens finds herself in further danger, as she is kidnapped and held hostage by a key figure in the Mexican Revolution who senses that her capture may bring him the riches he needs to help fund his efforts in overthrowing the Emperor of the country. Fascinatingly, STRONGHOLD was filmed concurrently with a Mexican film named FURIA ROJO. Both films shared the same plot, but a different cast rendered each film, with Mexican starlet Sarita Montiel taking Lake`s role in FURIA ROJO.

The dashing Javier Solis stars in this comedic cowboy film, LOS BARBAROS DEL NORTE. When outlaws invade his small town of La Paz, Solis helps the police take them down. The trouble is not over, however. One of the outlaws slips into the right side of the law by disguising himself as a Federal agent and begins to wreak havoc from the inside.
