Wildly handsome and charismatic, Sunset Carson starred in a spate of Westerns for Republic Studios that made him one of Hollywood`s top cowboys of the time. Here, Sunset encounters a family whose recent discovery of gold on their property is menaced by thugs who want it for themselves. They orchestrate a false smallpox epidemic and try to eliminate the landowners by administering poisonous shots, but Sunset is on to them and puts a stop to their plans.
