Tom Lansing (Tyler) rides out of Cheyenne with a mission to find the real killer, solving the murder that put his pappy behind bars. He comes upon a ghost town where the culprit is hiding out, and to gain admittance he and his sidekick Banty (Frank Rice) assume false identities, with Banty as a sheriff and Tom as an outlaw in his custody. Before Tom can get his revenge, however, bad guy Cramer (William Gould) wises up to Banty's true colors, and threatens to kill him if Banty doesn't reveal the identity of his cohort.
