The Mexican Western TIERRA DE VIOLENCIA (LAND OF VIOLENCE) is about a town caught in a struggle between competing interests that erupts into bloodshed. Plans are made to build a railroad through the town, but many of the wealthy citizens believe it will affect them negatively. They hire a group of vicious gunmen to attack the railroad and stop its construction, but the presence of the thugs changes the makeup of the town for the worse.
