To the Last Man spins a western variation on the same themes presented in Shakespeare's Romeo& Juliet. Struggling to get by, two families in the Kentucky Mountains carry on a feud that first began several years earlier. Soon cattle rustling leads to fighting and even murder. Ironically, a boy from one clan has fallen in love with a girl from the other. As the combatants clean their six-shooters, a flood of biblical proportions builds in the high range, up above their homes.
