This black & white western from 1944 stars genre favorite Bob Steele as U.S. Marshal Bob Stevens. Determined to hunt down the man who killed his uncle despite having little evidence to identify the perpetrator of the crime, Stevens decides to infiltrate a notorious gang by disguising himself as a crook. But this makes his job complicated as he tries not to implicate himself in any of their crimes, while also trying to figure out which one of them is the guilty man.
